baby magnus+big brother gavin=awwww

i got the awesome pleasure of taking some family pictures recently for a fellow st. louis mommies mama and i am pleased as a plum with how they turned out. baby magnus (don’t you just love that name) was super darling and big brother gavin was a loving big bro while also being a very active, very typical three-year old. gavin is so sweet, so talkative, so expressive…he made my job easy. and baby magnus did what every photographer desires for a newborn session…he slept.
new vintage scale + awesome natural window light= precious newborn photographs!
happy living!

i had the awesome, awesome pleasure of doing a senior session with the fabulous danielle recently and what a blast it was! we did just a wee bit in the studio then headed out to the best little indie coffee shop in st. charles county, crooked tree (more about this place later). we then made our way to blanchette park and lastly down to main street in st. charles where we finished up.
danielle was such a trooper! everything from walking in some very high heels on a very bumpy cobblestone street to sneaking into a very narrow space between two buildings on main street, not to mention laying in grass and trying not to sneeze. she did everything i asked her to and then some! danielle is considering going into fashion design after she graduates and considering her awesome style, i say it’s a perfect profession for her!
danielle’s lovely mom kathy joined us in the senior picture fun as did her cutie doggie kato. while we took pictures at crooked tree, kathy was kind enough to wait outside with kato, bless her heart.
and speaking of crooked tree, let me take just a moment to give a little shout out to this very cool coffee shop and it’s owner, stein hunter. the crooked tree is so comfy, cozy and warm…i could spend all day there if given the opportunity. and the drinks and food…let’s just say, wow, out of this world! the reese’s mocha chilla was hands down the best coffee drink i’ve ever had! so stein, a million thanks to you and your staff for being so very kind in allowing danielle and i to come into your coffee shop, rearrange furniture and take some of the best images i’ve ever taken.
well, let’s wait no more! here’s a sneak peak of danielle’s session including images from crooked tree, blanchette park and main street st. charles.

thanks for stopping by and happy living!
